Hello world!

Welcome to Brain Offspring.  I am new to blogging so please forgive any blogging faux pas I may do in my beginning efforts.  I look forward to having a lot of fun in this new medium.  Thanks for joining me. 

I have always been an explorer who valued freedom and adventure over everything else.  This includes kids.  I just never wanted them.  I love creativity and travel.  I have always wanted to peek over the next hill, look around the next corner.  My curiosity is insatiable.  I have lived all across the USA, have earned multiple degrees and achieved status in my careers.  Yet I have spent a good portion of my life feeling like a failure because I couldn’t achieve stability. 

It has taken this long for me to realize and accept I am an explorer.  I wither and die if I am forced to stay in one spot and take root.  My energy is one of reaching out testing the boundaries going where my heart takes me.  My goal now is to integrate this innate energy of constant motion with being a responsible adult.  I may have chosen not have the responsibility of caring for little ones but I do have a place to fill in society and I look forward to finding and filling my role.
